Each year, CAHS hosts our Annual Translation Competition, offering current students of Classical Languages and Ancient History at UQ the opportunity to showcase their Ancient Greek or Latin skills outside of the classroom.
By participating, students can put their language skills to the test, and winners will each receive a Certificate of Achievement, a Loeb Book Prize, and eternal fame on our perpetual Trophy Shields.
Rules and Texts will be added closer to the date in Semester 2
Please note: To participate, you must be a current UQ student enrolled in a Classical Languages or Ancient History Course, Major, or Program, and have completed a LATN or GREK course within the last 2 years. Further details will be listed on the competition flyer.
